���I had carried out discussions with several directors to translate the vision behind the movie on the silver screen, but I felt that none of them were able to interpret what was going on in my head.

So, I decided to step into the director���s shoes myself and make this movie,��� said Rohit.
The movie is inspired by real life incidents and is an extension of a documentary that Rohit had made in 2013. ���The movie is an extension of a project called 'Let���s Change,' which veered around school children coming together to help create a cleaner country. In fact, it also earned accolades from the Gujarat Government and can also be identified as one of the inspirations behind the Swachh Bharat campaign,��� said the director and added, ���Dabba Gul goes one step ahead to support the voices for setting up toilet blocks in villages.���
